God with others...

Greetings,

Everyone needs a companion, a friend, and someone always there for you. Although God is the perfect person for that, but really sometimes it's not the same. Yes God can be anywhere but he is our father, not friend. Other humans beside yourself, we are made to learn together. Theres communication, there's bonding/friendship and relationships that bring us together. Maybe there are people who choose to be alone and thats fine but most of us urge to have someone we can call, rely on, ask advice, talk to about anything, have fun and my personal favourite learn about God together.

Heck, I use to have quiet times but they never really worked for me. If I did want to go one and one with God, that's what prayer is for and bible reading. But getting down to the skull of it and understanding the gospel through our interpretation is one difficult task I cannot do alone. I like to listen, discuss and put all my limitless thought processes with someone one and one, or a bible study group, or at church or all of them, you know - why not!

It doesn't mean it makes learning about God any easier (the gospel is a challenging book, so many questions), but I just find it more convicting, intimate and it sticks/soaks in better. It can also be so much fun, learning about God with others can be so much fun! Also it may open opportunity to share each others experiences and lessons in life. But the main reason is to focus and center ourself with God when we learn about the gospel together.

Its important to know that your committment has to be there. It's not an easy thing to do and we do struggle with it everyday. Take it slow, take your time and don't expect results but expect a lesson in life with God. So ask your friends if they want to read bible with you! Christian or Non-Christian!

Until next time
Keep blogging or get into blogging

Relgin.
Keep smiling =(
