new language or words, becomes quotes...

Greetings,

I had another crave to post another blog, because it seems I have left out tad bits of the week, so I have added this blog for you readers, enjoy

Well…

Is it just me, or am I behind in the Australian slang. Well my stay here at Bathurst has been such a learning process, not only academically but culturally.
It was club day, during last mid-week and I was wondering what club I should join. I particular did not join any, reasons being it was not the right time because I am still adjusting to university and finding a routine to study. So Just as I was walking down to the mini-mart in the university, I dodged through club stalls and members. Also then encountered a fellow student that asked me to join a particular club, it involving all you can drink “Goon” that being cheap alcohol that was stored in special bags (which was the Goon) packaged in secure boxes. Another typical reason I did not join any clubs. Well enough I learnt a new word.
Anyways I am already part of a club, the BCS club. And I am totally fine with the alcohol-free club.

Another word I’ve learnt at Bathurst, well more in university. This story happens to be set in my psychology class. How unusual? Well our lecturer was going through her presentation slide, talking through, making things clear, throwing many interesting facts, watched a couple of interesting videos and incorporated a new word in my life. The word was “Golden Arches” depends where you’re from, and where you eat at fast food outlets you will get it right away. I would say Golden Arches is like a technical and cheeky way of saying Mac Donald’s. If you don’t get it still just think of their symbol big golden “M” and figure out where the arches come from. It’s as simple as that. How great huh?

Well much is said (not really) and I hope someday these words will pop up in your conversations.

Till next time
Keep blogging and get into blogging

In Him, we live

Relgin.
