a new go...

Greetings,

Yesterday was the first day of university, and boy did I find it cold. Literally the average temperature reading was like ten below. Even today that consisted waking up at seven am’ for a lecture, the temperature at that time over frosted I and I say over frosted my car, which contributed a late arrival for this mornings’ lecture.

I can’t complain, I’m actually liking it. Encountering the frost on my car is frustrating and intolerable but its nature way of saying “Embrace it”. Although I’ve encountered frost before it always stimulating to see it again. So it’s time to Embrace it.

Now embracing winter, I’ve embraced a new semester. And yesterday I actually faced it head on. Tackling away the organisation of my timetable and for this week’s lectures and tutorials. Each week is a hand full of new topics. So this is my new go, my new green traffic light at the these new challenges.

Looking ahead in my semester, I now find myself thinking about joining the ranks of the St John’s ambulance tomorrow, if it still runs on Wednesdays. As I volunteer, I’m volunteering my services to others, and I guess that’s the role of a real paramedic. Might I say joining St John’s doesn’t mean I’m a paramedic but the role I’ll be taking can only be a simple First Aid for others. I’m not disappointed to have a small role because I don’t think I’m ready for any high level treatment. If the opportunity happens to arise so be it.

I also intend to find a casual job but I doubt and know my slimming chances that I’ll find one. Still I’m going to give it ago. No regrets. I also find myself with so much to think about, like my future assessments, examinations, and night after night study. Well first things first, Ill tackle down what Ill have to do for this week and worry about the rest next week. Take it slow for “a new go”
