U-turn Sand Astronaut

Greetings,

After a long service break, I'm back to blog about something interesting. I'm an Aussie in the United States America. I've actually been here since last Wednesday and only had some me time to actually type something down. I basically do this to record memories here and share encouraging words. I'm here in the US more importantly to see my relatives and my cousin's wedding. It's been such a long time since I've seen them but I'm also here because I'm here to do some work experience with the ambulance service in Colorado.

Anyways the first couple of days of the trip wasn't too bad, checking in the hotel, moving luggage's places to places, helping out with my cousin's wedding with my auntie. Boy was my auntie busy, you know how sometimes at a wedding a mum can be so involved that it seems like there in control of everything. No, no my auntie wasn't like that, she was just a great help to her daughter, to help secure a happy and smooth wedding day. My Tita Chola is a very strong lady, emotionally and mentally. She knows how to speak her mind and defend herself when needed especially in LA. Living in LA is hard from hearing about my auntie experiences. Basically she knows how to keep it all together and survive.

Well that weekend was a magical experience seeing two people become one with the Lord. The wedding was actually outside at a park where it had an amphitheater where 400 of their closest friends and relatives would come together and become witnesses of God's purpose of marriage. There wasn't one moment I missed, especially the food at the reception which was practically right after the ceremony which was different and convenient because I sure was hungry. Many, many, many photos were taken but it doesn't beat being there:

After the wedding was the Blessing of the two which was on Sunday at my cousins place, we also partied and celebrated with lots of food and close friends and family. And on Monday we went to San Diego to drop off my cousin's brother to his College. We stayed with him the whole day till that night, he gave us a tour of the six campuses in UCSD. I definitely was impressed, we also roamed around down town SD. Where we ate at a restaurant renown for its 2 scenes of fame in the old movie
"Top Gun" if your ever in San Diego, look for Kansas BBQ, its pretty cool.

At this moment, just been shopping, relaxing, jetlagging, and my next stop is Palm Springs. I hear it's steaming hot, hot, hot.
