Greetings,
3rd week into this semester. Everything is piling on, how stimulating. My brain is like divided into 21 unperfect places and is doing its best to stay awake. Still loving it though, i'm always occupied and learning interesting information. It is though very exhausting in terms of reading, reading and oh look more reading. Honestly I use to hate reading so much, but now its just "Like". I soon to hope to find it a habit and maybe even love reading. An ordinary week i might say except maybe ill be doing some recreation or writing down a letter. My books weight a million grams and its like doing a full session of gym everyday. Boy its challenging.
Well i won't admit to defeat, and truly accept the fact that the termiology is way above my level of understanding and that each book i hold puts more weight on my shoulders. I'll only accept "Do your Best"
Last night i've attended the BCS "teammeat" bible study at one of our student coordinaters house of the BCS community. Let me explain what it meant. You meet people, we spilt into a "team", read the bible and answer a few deep and meaningful questions (DNM's) and eat "Meat"
Which was the best part of the "Teammeat" Its interesting and rewarding. The food was good i tell you! It was sure a different environment. Oh i met a lovely canadian lady, that moved to bathurst around the same time i moved here and learnt alot of new things about her. It was her accent that stirred it up.
I learnt a valueable lesson, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness," 2 Timothy 3: 16
So i've made a pact to use all of Gods resources for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. I made break it along the lines, but it will hit me someday i am sure of that. There was also a question that took the team a long time to figure it out. And that was to define each word. Don't know why but i think it was rebuking and correcting. This is what i understood
Teaching - share valueable facts
Rebuking - steering a friend in the right direction but actually telling them the right way (like a good and personal criticsm) in terms of choice and realisation
Correcting - a practical way of showing them and actually referring to a friend the correct ways.
Training in Righteousness - this was working hard, continually "studying" and practicing these correct ways God has set for us.
Although were not perfect creatures and not expecting to follow everything the bible tells us, God made a way for everything. Just remember that.
Ok, i think i've said enough to help me continue this independent life for another day. We are in constant battle!
till next time,
Keep blogging or get into blogging
in Him, we live
Relgin.

Books = gym session.
You're definitely not alone on that one buddy. It's a great workout though, particularly on the shoulders in my opinion.
